Procurement

Material procurement and submittals

We furnish and install. That starts with a material takeoff, product submittals and samples, shop drawings and layout, and mockups where the spec calls for them. We manage lead time on imported porcelain and natural stone, handle stored materials, and keep manufacturer and distributor relationships close, with Daltile headquartered here in Dallas.

When a value engineering pass is on the table, we propose substitutions that keep the manufacturer's system warranty intact.

Installation, CSI 09 30 00 Tiling

Ceramic tile and natural stone installation

Division 09 Finishes: 09 30 13 ceramic tiling, 09 30 33 stone tiling, and 09 63 40 stone flooring. We install to TCNA Handbook methods and ANSI A108 installation standards, with A118 setting materials and A137.1 tile.

Substrate preparation and flatness come first: self-leveling underlayment and crack-isolation membrane. Waterproofing is bonded sheet or liquid, on Schluter, LATICRETE, and MAPEI systems. We set large-format and gauged porcelain tile panels; granite, marble, limestone, and travertine; mosaics, quarry tile, and pavers; and epoxy grout for healthcare and food service. We install movement joints and sealants.

Wet areas are our regular work: showers, locker rooms, natatoriums. In occupied healthcare we phase for infection control; in occupied buildings we work nights and phases.

Maintenance, repair, and restoration

Warranty service, repair, and restoration

We answer our own callbacks. Warranty service on our installations, repair and replacement of damaged tile and stone, regrout and recaulk, and stone honing, polishing, and sealing. We restore existing tile and terrazzo transitions and write service agreements for facilities teams.
